Hi there, my name is Corinne, I'm looking for a place on a piece of land in the cowichan to put up my simple structure. The inside part of the structure is 8 ft by 4 ft and then it is covered by a large tarp. The first design was this one with the frame pictured but it probably won't have a wooden frame this time.
I use an extension cord for my heater and another one for my computer and lights. The cord is about 200 feet so I can be quite far from the house or other structures. Other than the extension cord I am self contained with a composting toilet and outdoor shower.
I live in a simple structure because I have mold and chemical sensitivities.
I'm on disability and I tend to have somebody come over to help me with carrying water cleaning laundry and garbage. If somebody who wanted to rent me a spot also wanted to be a paid helper that would also work very well.
