1970s Raleigh Sprite 5 speed ladies - fully refurbished, EXCELLENT condition! in Cobble Hill, British Columbia for sale

Up for sale today is one very nice, RARE, 1970s vintage Raleigh 5 speed Sprite Ladies bike, with a beautiful and strong lugged 'mixte' style frame. Suited for a rider roughly 5'2" - 5'11".
**Made in England** with high tensile steel tubing. They don't make them like this anymore!
My father bought this vintage gem for my mother about a year ago, and took it to a bike shop for complete mechanical refurbishment.
ZERO rust, or corrosion anywhere. Has obviously seen very little use since new, and always been stored in a climate controlled environment.
It has a new seat, new tires, new brake pads, new cables, and anything else that was required to essentially make it 'as new'...all just from age, certainly not from wear.
While there are a few very small scuffs and chips in the paint, overall this machine is a fabulous looking vintage cruiser that rides like new.
Unfortunately Mom is getting older, and balance issues have precluded her being able to use this thoughtful gift, so now it is up for sale, for less than the refurbishment cost, let alone the original purchase. Mom never used it, so it is ready in its fully restored glory for the next owner.
Best suited for somebody who wants to ride in style, without any extreme hills in their travels, as it is only a 5 speed, although it would be possible to add a front shifter and convert it to a 10 speed or 15 speed.
Price INCLUDES a brand new Kryptonite U-lock and holder.
