1993 22' Starcraft Islander 160HP Mercruiser 4.3L Fishing Boat in Cobble Hill, British Columbia for sale

For sale is a rare 1993 Starcraft Island 221V with a Mercruiser 160hp 4.3 litre V6. This fantastic open water fishing machine is made of light weight aluminium which makes it perfect for trailering around the island and very fuel efficient to run. Unlike other boats of its size, the boat and trailer come in at just under 4000 lbs making it great to tow with a smaller vehicle. We purchased this boat in San Diego a number of years ago and brought it to the island with our Volvo V70.
The bad! At the beginning of the boating season, it was realised the steering had seized and needed repair. I took it to a registered marine mechanic and it turned out the power steering actuator had seized and needed replacement. Long story short, the mechanic fell into bankruptcy during this time and his shop was closed and I luckily retrieved my boat with a new actuator but learned the steering cable had also been broken.
I was planning to restore it this winter to fix the floor, some cushions and have the steering fixed. I was also playing with the idea of converting it to a pod with outboard for the truely ultimate setup. Unfortunately an unplanned move away from the coast is now forcing me to part with my dream boat.
