17'7" Willow Kayak in Cobble Hill, British Columbia for sale

This kayak was built from a 3-part article that appeared in Wooden Boat Magazine issues 195-197: "Willow - Building a Light, Fast Sea Kayak". The hull is made of 4mm marine plywood and the deck of cedar strips. Both hull and deck have 2 layers of 4 oz. fibreglass cloth reinforced with epoxy for a total weight of 63 lbs. There are three watertight compartments, a drop skeg and a deck-mounted compass.
The price includes spray skirt, paddles, throw rope, bailing pump & hatch cover, so you're ready to go.
We are professional woodworkers who took this on as a hobby project a few years ago and just find we aren't using it. We'd love to see it go to someone who would enjoy this attractive, stable, yet quick kayak.
