2.5 litre, 5 speed manual transmission (replaced in March 2017)
This van has been very well cared for - regularly serviced & maintained, with full service history. Last serviced June 20th, 2019. Stored undercover during winter.
We bought the van from its original owner in spring 2017, and have used it camping for the last two summers. It has been a terrific camper, we're only selling it now because our family is outgrowing it.
Fully camperized with 3 way fridge, propane stove & furnace, sink, water tank, dining table, and interior lights. Hose in back for outdoor shower. Front captain's chairs swivel for additional cabin seating. Sleeps four (two up top, and two on the fold-down bench seat).
It comes with a new trailer hitch, ready for a bike rack. Front nose bra included. Starter battery replaced Jan 2017.
We also added a brand new ARB roll-out awning. In addition we're including a virtually new (used only a handful of times) ARB Awning Room with floor. It's 2500 x 2500, with a durable floor, two large mesh windows with roll up blinds and a zippered door with solid and mesh panels. Fully enclosed as it has an integrated roof that hangs just below the main awning canvas. It more than doubles your undercover living space.
Since we've owned the van we've made a number of improvements, including:
- Shoulder seat belts installed for back seat (van came with original lap belts in the back)
- Anchor point installed for child seat
- ARB awning installed
- Pop-top roof gas-struts replaced
- Stove/Sink gas-struts replaced
- Air Conditioning system completely overhauled
It does have a couple of minor issues that we've never bothered to fix:
- Front right turn signal light cover is cracked
- Drivers wing mirror is cracked
- Levels gauge is not working
- Downshifting from 5th to 4th or 4th to 3rd requires double-clutching (the replacement gearbox came with this issue. We didn't even notice it anymore after driving a few times)
Everything else is working well and in great shape. It's ready to camp!
