This Kayak was built from plans from a series of articles in Wooden Boat magazine: "Building a Light , Fast Sea Kayak" (Issues 195-197). It was constructed by two experienced woodworkers: www.coventrywoodworks.ca
The bottom and sides are made of 5mm Marine Plywood with fiberglass reinforced epoxy seams and 4oz. cloth bottom. The deck is made of matching Cedar strips and also reinforced with 4oz. cloth. The total weight is 64 lbs.
The price includes an adjustable double paddle, spray skirt, deck compass and safety equipment - ready to go.
